Elevated ED is a Real Estate Education Program that has helped a team of 8 agents doing 175 transactions to a team of nearly 100 agents approaching 900 transactions per year.

The target agent that this team, The Laughton Team, has recruited to join are a New Realtor that is either straight out of Real Estate School or agents with less than 3 years experience. The agents come in willing to listen and implement the Real Estate Tips that are provided through Elevated ED!!!

The days of a new realtor having to wait SIX MONTHS before they receive their first commission check are OVER!!! Students executing the Action Plans of Elevated ED  realtor training are cashing their first check before the class is over. Roughly, 85% of the agents are working actively working with buyers and sellers before they complete the eight week course and 40% of our agents have their FIRST CONTRACT pending in that same time!!!

My Story

I started my professional life as a teacher. Like many teachers, and people in a lot of other professions out there, I found myself wanting more for my family. However, with my measly yearly salary and pitiful paychecks it seemed like I was NEVER going to get ahead! After 15 years teaching my base salary went from $33,000 to $39,000!

Obviously, I began looking to supplement my salary within my profession in any way possible; extra teaching sections, extra duties, and even coaching. But, nothing in the education world got me over the hump to provide a better life for my wife and kids the way I wanted to. This is when I turned to the Real Estate World.

I was PUMPED when I sign up for the classes. I was PUMPED when I passed my school exam. I was PUMPED when I passed my state and national exams.

I was PANICKED when I realized that I know nothing about actually making any money in the RE World!

I struggled hour after hour, day after day, week after week, and month after month to figure out what to do. Luckily, I have an incredibly supportive wife who was willing to give me the thousands of hours necessary to figure EVERYTHING…which I eventually did.

However, after experiencing this struggle first hand, I came to the realization that there has to be a better way. In this industry there is a HUGE gap between finishing Real Estate School and Providing for your Family.

My Goal

I am here to help you fill the gap between Real Estate School and actually producing income! I’ve created Elevated ED as a resource for all those people out there who are trying to make it in the world of Real Estate. Basically, this is a place where you can find all the tricks and tips for New Real Estate Agents!!!

Within a year of FULLY committing myself to Real Estate, I went from being a teacher getting paid $39,000 by my district to making more than 3x that through my own personal transactions and as the Director of Agent Training and Development within a powerhouse Real Estate Team. My role within this team is to give a new realtor the tips and tricks that I learned along the way! Not to mention, cut the 1000s+ hours it took me to set myself up in the different systems, build templates, and develop scripts and short cuts!!!

I am teacher at heart, I can’t help but think, “If this program can impact so many agents on my team…why keep that from other people?!?” Elevated ED can now be accessed by ANYONE and EVERYONE looking to succeed in Real Estate! Elevated ED

After 15 years in the classroom I was able to learn a couple of things. I learned that students learn in very ways. I learned that if students can be significantly more success if they are giving quality examples. I also learn that there can be a TON of confusion if processes aren’t laid out properly. I realized that if you give students ALL the pieces of the puzzle along with tested strategies to put those pieces together, they WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!!!

I’ve taken those lessons that I learned in front of high school classes and applied them to this Real Estate Education Platform. (After all, we are all students and lifelong learners)

Elevated ED is the culmination of all of my experiences; 15 years teaching of experience, a hard fought year of figuring out how to be a successful Real Estate Agent, and time spent as Director of Agent Training and Development for one of the most impressive Real Estate Teams in the country.

Here are some other little tid-bits about me that I would probably deny if my wife told you…

  1. I am a Reality TV freak…Bachelor, Bachelorette are INCLUDED!!! (shhhh)
  2. I started growing a beard the day I found out I was having a daughter (6 months before she was born). I’m preparing to be as scary as possible to that first boy who she brings home. I know I might be a little early for this, BUT it’s better to be safe than sorry.
  3. I’ve come to find that a beard is an AMAZING ice breaker that crosses all generational lines. What would happen if all world leaders had beards???
  4. My wife has bigger feet than I do (SIZE 14…in women’s)
  5. I have a sure fire way to improve posture!!! Marry someone that roughly the same height as you! (my wife is 6’2; I’m 6’3…I NEVER SLOUCH!!!)
  6. I have a 4-year-old son, a 3 year old daughter and a 1 year old son and my wife is pushing for a 4th (…any thoughts???)
  7. I break dance with my son at least 3 times a week.
  8. I DO dance in the kitchen with my wife to our wedding song at least once a month (MAJOR points that make up for all the times… “I don’t listen to her!”)
  9. I’m currently debating if I fall into the “hipster” category…NOT trying to, but I think it might be happening.
  10. …I’ve gotta stop now…I might have gone too far already…
